Built in Paris, France in 2012Pavilion MIWAreceived a request to build an accommodation facility deep in the mountains of Kyoto. The house was built 70 years ago, and although there were no leaks, it was in poor condition, and it was difficult to complete the construction within the limited budget and construction period. Also, since the concept was to allow foreigners to experience Japan's original landscape, we had a hard time finding dimensions that would fit the mix of Japanese and Western styles. We have created a space that welcomes customers in a location blessed with nature.
