Kyoto Kaohsiung: Ojoin Sanmon gate construction

At the request of Mr. K, a colleague from his time at Hosomi Construction, he was involved in the construction of the Yakuin gate at Ojoin in Takao, Kyoto. The Yakui-mon gate requires a sense of balance, as it requires four pillars to support the heavy roof. For this reason, a 1/10 scale model was made before construction began. The combination of deep eaves and large members is a highlight.
