Katsushika Hachiman Shrine Kyudo Hall new construction work

When I received a call from a lumberyard with whom I had a regular relationship, saying they were looking for a carpenter who could build a warped roof, I got involved in the construction of the archery hall at Katsushika Hachiman Shrine. It was a heavy responsibility job for me, as I was responsible for creating full-size drawings based on the drawings from Nihon Architects and Design Office. The hard work paid off, and we were able to complete the work to a satisfactory degree, including the curves of the large roof, the curved corners of the eaves, and the curved front of the entrance.

Business: Frame/roof construction
