Shrine carpenter, Sukiya carpenter
After graduating from high school in his hometown of Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, he began helping his father, a carpenter. Although he had mastered the basics of carpentry, he wanted to master it even more, so he unexpectedly moved to Kyoto at the age of 20. He becomes an apprentice to a temple carpenter at Hosomi Construction, a company that builds shrines and temples, which he first found on Town Page. Participated in the restoration of Kuki House in Sanda City (Important Cultural Property), Seichoji Temple in Takarazuka City, and Daienji Temple in Hyogo Prefecture. At the age of 25, he joined Nakamura Sotoji Construction, a prestigious Sukiya architecture company, as a craftsman, and worked on repairs such as the Tawaraya Inn, Wakuden Restaurant, and Kikunoi Restaurant, as well as the new construction of the Kyoto State Guest House. At the age of 30, he started his own second-class architect office and became independent.
